“EBI” was digitally illustrated on 01-02-22. It is one of the artworks from the Goto Diary 2022, a project in which the artist attempted to illustrate a new artwork, for as long as she could, everyday for the entire year. “EBI” illustrates the Japanese prawn, its long antenna and curvature resemble long beard and the back of an elder - symbolizing long and healthy life. It is typically found inside the osechi during the New Years in Japan to wish for a healthy year and longevity!
