This Camp Mug is about 10 years in the making. Ever since I learned of the MIIR brand cups through my collaboration cup with the Honolulu Coffee (they still carry them!) - I fell in love! I told myself that my dream is to have my artwork on their camp mugs one day… and here it is!

There is a tiny Japanese font on the other end of the lei - which reads Suki （すき）in Japanese.

SUKI (すき・好き）literally means “to like” or “to be fond of”. Can be used for things like, “I like ramen.”. However, when used toward someone, in that context, it often implies romantic feelings. Saying “Suki-desu (好きです）I like you” can be closer to confessing that you have feelings for that person, not just the casual “I like you as a friend.
